This is a reading for anyone who feels drawn to the cards, to give guidance & inspiration to help with a difficult person or situation that is in your life at the moment... You can pick one or more cards, but go with your first thoughts, and scroll down to find out their meaning...
I hope these short snippets of wisdom help you on your journey...
Card 1: Seven of Swords
There is someone around you at the moment who is not everything that they appear to be. You are being deceived, even if only subtley.... this person's motives are not entirely helpful or innocent. They wish to gain something from you, but the winds are changing and you are beginning to pick up on their lack of authenticity. You are beginning to observe indiscrepencies in their stories and a somewhat '2 faced attitude' towards others.
They are an extremely emotional and volatile person, so tread carefully here. Having an awareness that they are not all they appear or make themselves out to be, has automatically won you back the control in the situation, and this is not something you necessarily need to act on straight away. Just keep that awareness in your mind when it comes to asking for favours, or opening up about personal issues. They are seeking to gain a hold over you, or for you to be indebted to them in some way so they are able to lean on you or seek favours from you in a way that is going to put you in a predicament that you are not comfortable with, or ask more from you than you are energetically able to give at this time...
So it may be advisable to keep your cards close to your chest where this person is concerned for the time being, and sit back and observe their words and behaviour...
If you are unsure of who this person may be the same advice still applies. Be aware that someone might be relying on you a little too heavily, or are rather eager to hear about your worries and concerns. Pay attention to how people talk about others in front of you... because this is how they may be speaking about you to others....
Key words: Protection is needed, Relinquish Control, Awareness of people around you
Card 2: Queen of Swords
For the first time in a long time, you are actually beginning to feel in control of a situation that has been causing you a great deal of turmoil... not necessarily because circumstances have changed, but your atttude towards the situation has changed drastically! Your intuition is serving you well and you are beginning to silence the voices that have been making you doubt yourself.
You are standing tall with poise and are waiting to see how things pan out... and you have made a few realisations that put this whole situation and the people involved with it into perspective.... there is a lot of wisdom in this card, and you are realising that the bigger picture is not affected in any way by the events or people involved in this... you are taking a step away and are rising above the situation, and with slight humour you wonder why you were bothered by it for so long... a huge leap forward in your personal growth. Why let the opinions or behaviour of others affect your inner peace? You, and only you need to be satisfied, and you only ever have to be able to justify your decisions to yourself....
So remember this and dont allow yourself to take a step backwards here. Remember your pwer and strength, and that you and only you are responsible for how you think and feel about situations. There is always another angle and another perspective that will be worth exploring.
Key words: Change in perspective, Personal growth, Intuition, Empowerment
Card 3: The Magician
This card suggests that you already have absolutely everything that you need to rectify and resolve the situation, but you are too busy focusing on one aspect of it... once again this card is suggesting that you need to take a step back and gather yourself together. Look at the situation one aspect at a time (this is when journalling, or writing out your thoughts, often in bullet point form can be very helpful indeed). There is need for diplomacy, but also for you to take a deep breath and look around you. This situation may seem very complicated, and very difficult to overcome... but break it down... you are more than capable of addressing and resolving every aspect of this sitaution with ease...
Because this situation has been going on for some time it has made you weary, and you are tired of it. Because of this ongoing issue your vision of it has become blurry, and you need to step back in order to look at it with a fresh pair of eyes. Once you do this the fog will clear, and the small steps you need to take to put this behind you wil become obvious and will seem so simple. Just take one thing at a time, and before you know it the world will seem brighter and you will wonder what seemed so difficult in the first place!
If there are multiple options as to how to deal with the situation just follow your intuition and go with what feels right. If that seems difficult, then just roll the dice and see what happens. Any progress or change is better than staying where you are in this 'deadlock'. You are much more capable of resolving this situation than you even realise, and will be shocked at how quickly the ball begins to move when you start to take action to resolve it.
Key words: Trust yourself, Take a step back, Take action!
